Huntingburg Confirms Hiring of New Police Officer in Special Board Meeting
Huntingburg - Wednesday morning, the Huntingburg Board of Public Works convened for a special meeting.
During the Special Session, the Board confirmed the hiring of Officer Austin Kane. Kane's hiring was approved unanimously.
Also discussed:
-Discussed request to close a city block east of U.S. 231, not on the west side for 4th Fridays.
-Police Department ordered railroad bypass signs for U.S. 231 and S.R. 64 to alert travelers of the bypass.
