Heimatfest Kicks Off Friday, Continues Saturday

FERDINAND -- The annual Ferdinand Heimatfest kicks off Friday.

The two day event features food, beer gardens, live music, games and so much more.

The festivities begin at 5 p.m. when the beer garden and food booths open.

The beer garden is open until 1 a.m.Food booths close at 9 tonight.

The High Road, a local band, will perform tonight at 6:45 at the 18^th Street Park.

The Jason Lee McKinney Band takes the stage at 9.

Events continue Saturday.

This is just a small sampling of all that there is to do down in Ferdinand tonight and tomorrow.
