HEALTH ALERT: Officials Confirm Area Fast Food Employee Worked While Sick With Hepatitis A

LINTON -- Officials in Greene County have confirmed an employee at the Long John Silver’s in Linton worked while infected with Hepatitis A.

Not many details have been released yet, but officials are urging anyone who ate there recently to look out for symptoms.

Those include…

  • Fatigue
  • Sudden nausea and vomiting
  • Abdominal pain or discomfort, especially on the upper right side beneath your lower ribs (by your liver)
  • Clay-colored bowel movements
  • Loss of appetite
  • Low-grade fever
  • Dark urine
  • Joint pain
  • Yellowing of the skin and the whites of your eyes (jaundice)
  • Intense itching

This is just the latest in a string of Hep A cases across the state.  Luckily, so far, no cases have been reported in Dubois County.
