GUILTY: Baker Convicted of Double Murder, Burglary

MARTIN CO. -- A Martin County jury found Nathan Baker this week on charges of killing Tom Tharp and Alan Sims back in August of 2015.

Prosecutors said Baker shot and killed the two men before stealing one of the victim’s vehicles and driving away.

According to Indiana sentencing guidelines, Baker faces 45 years to 65 years in prison on the murder charge, 2-12 years on a burglary charge and 6 months to a 2 and a half years on theft.

He’ll be sentenced July 20th.
