French Lick Man Arrested on Child Sex Charges From Dubois County

DUBOIS COUNTY -- A French Lick man is in jail on child sex charges out of Dubois County.

30-year-old Derek Breitweiser is accused of sexual misconduct with a minor under the age of 16 and sexual battery.

An arrest warrant was issued last week and Breitweiser has now been taken into custody.

He’s charged with two counts of Sexual Misconduct with a Minor and Sexual Battery; those are both felonies.

He's the same man who was arrested for allegedly leaving the scene of a crash in Dubois County back in December, that knocked out power to hundreds of Dubois REC customers for several hours.
