Five New Cases of COVID-19 Reported in Dubois County Wednesday

JASPER -- The Dubois County Health Department announced five new cases of COVID-19 in the county Wednesday.

That brings the county’s total to 713 since the pandemic began.

Of those cases, 12 have died; 487 have recovered.  When you do the math, it comes out to 214 active cases in the county.

The county’s seven-day positivity rate went up to 18% Wednesday; a 2% increase from Tuesday’s rate.  The state’s average is 7.7%.

Dubois County remains the state hotspot for new coronavirus cases.
