Ferdinand Man Arrested on Six Charges After Domestic Dispute

Ferdinand - A domestic dispute call on Wednesday led to four felonies and two misdemeanor charges for a Ferdinand man.


On Wednesday night, Ferdinand Police was made aware of a possible domestic battery that occurred at 11:00 p.m. During the investigation, it was discovered that the victim had been held against her will for several hours. At approximately 1:15 a.m. Thursday, Ferdinand Police and the Dubois County Sherriff's Department served the arrest and search warrant at an 622 East 3rd Street apartment.

Officers arrested Chase A. Clark, 26, of Ferdinand. Clark was charged with four felonies: Domestic Violence with a Prior (Level 5), Strangulation (Level 5), Criminal Confinement (Level 6), and count of Possession of Marijuana over 30 grams (Level 6). Clark was also charged with misdemeanor counts of Interfering with Reporting a Crime, and Possession of Paraphenalia.

Clark was transported to the Dubois Security Center.
