Fall Hydrant Flushing Begins Tuesday in Huntingburg

HUNTINGBURG -- Fall hydrant flushing begins today in Huntingburg.  This will take place at various locations throughout the city each day from about 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

The water will be safe to drink, however, be careful while doing laundry.

Discoloration could adversely impact your laundry.  Residents in Huntingburg are urged to run cold water through the tap 5 – 7 minutes to clear any discoloration.

The city is not responsible for replacing or cleaning laundry.

The flushing runs through Friday, October 5^th.
