Expect More Traffic Tie-Ups in Jasper Today as Work Continues

JASPER --Traffic tie ups continuing today in downtown Jasper.

West 9^th Street is closed today from Main Street to 75 feet east of Newton.

Traffic restrictions are also in place from the southbound lane of Main Street between 8^th and 9^th Streets.

Crews are preparing to demolish a small building on the old Knights of Columbus property.

The closures will remain in place for the duration of the project.

Officials expect it to take about a week.
