Early Voting Begins in Dubois County, New Location This Year
By: David Shepherd, Director of News & Public Information
JASPER -- Early voting began throughout Indiana today for the upcoming May 8th Primary.
From now until May 7, any eligible voter can cast an absentee ballot in-person at their county clerk’s office or request an absentee ballot by mail.
In Dubois County, voters will now vote on the first floor of the county Annex on the courthouse square. "Easier access, we felt, for everyone involved," explains Dubois County Clerk Bridgette Jarboe.
"We have a designated parking space. We still have a [handicap-accessible] room and it's much easier to get in here," Jarboe tells WITZ Radio News.
