Early Monday Morning Battery Arrest in Jasper

The Jasper Police Department responded to the area of 660 Rumbach Avenue in reference to a battery. Upon arrival, officers learned of a verbal argument between two elderly male subjects that had become physical. 

After further investigation, it was discovered Donald Zirnheld had battered and caused several injuries to an elderly male victim. The elderly male victim was transported to Memorial Hospital by EMS for several injuries.

 Mr. Zirnheld was transported to and lodged in the Dubois County security center. The Jasper Police Department were assisted by Memorial EMS.
