Dump Truck Flips, Causes Delays on I64

FERDINAND -- Traffic is moving once again on I 64 today after a dump truck flipped this yesterday morning, spilling fertilizer in the east-bound lanes.

The crash happened just before 8 a.m. Monday on I 64 near mile marker 66.

Traffic was backed up for about 3 miles as the eastbound lanes were shut down for clean up … this according to Indiana State Police.

By mid-morning things were running smoothly again out there on I 64.

Luckily the driver of the truck is ok and there were no injuries related to the accident.
