JASPER -- Just over 9,100 people in Dubois County are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Most of them received the two-dose Moderna vaccine.

But now, anyone over the age of 18 can receive the one dose Johnson and Johnson vaccine at a mass vaccination clinic later this month.

It will be held Saturday, April 17th at Jasper Middle School from 8:00 am - 2:00 pm.

You are asked to park in the NORTHSIDE parking lot behind the school building (follow the signs).  Also, don't arrive too early.  You are asked to show up at your scheduled appointment time.

"This is a great opportunity for any eligible individuals over the age of 18 looking for an appointment," Dubois County health officials said in a statement.  "Johnson and Johnson is a one dose vaccine and does not require a 2nd dose."

Anyone 18 and older is now eligible to receive Johnson and Johnson vaccine in Indiana.

The only way to receive the COVID-19 vaccine is by scheduling an appointment, this can be accomplished by visiting www.ourshot.in.gov  or by calling 211 for those individuals who do not have internet access.
