Dubois County Slips to Second Lowest Unemployment in Indiana in November

AREA WIDE -- It’s rare, but Dubois County did not have the lowest unemployment in the state last month; just barely edged out by Tipton County.  They came in at 2.1%.

Dubois County had 2.3% unemployment in November, tied with Bartholomew County for the second lowest unemployment rate.

Martin County had 2.5% unemployment last month; Pike County 2.9%.  Spencer and Perry Counties both reported 3 % unemployment; Orange 3.4% and Crawford at 3.6%.

The highest unemployment in the area last month went to Lawrence County at 3.7%.
