Dubois County Sees COVID Death; Memorial Hospital with 30 Hospitalized

Dubois Co. - Over the weekend, one Dubois County resident died due to COVID-19 while 30 remain hospitalized at Memorial Hospital.


In Monday's update, the county saw 37 new cases total for Saturday and Sunday, adding one death. Statewide, Indiana reported 2,349 new cases and no deaths, according to the Indiana Department of Health Online Dashboard.

There have been five deaths in the county since August 28th.

Memorial Hospital has updated their numbers as of September 9th. As of the 9th, 30 patients are hospitalized with COVID-19, of which only two are vaccinated.

15 Coronavirus patients are in the Intensive Care Unit; eight are on ventilators. None of the patients in the ICU or on ventilators have been vaccinated.
