Dubois County's Unemployment Rate Falls Below 2 Percent in September

AREA WIDE -- Dubois County had the lowest unemployment in the state in September, this according to new jobs numbers released this week.

The county reported 1.9 percent unemployment last month.  That’s down from the previous month’s 2.4 percent.

Daviess County had 2.1 percent unemployment in August; Martin County 2.3 percent.

Spencer County came in at 2.6 percent unemployment while Orange, Pike and Perry Counties all reported 2.8 percent.

Lawrence and Crawford County both had unemployment at or above 3 percent in August.
