Dubois County's COVID Numbers Remain Low, State Hopes to Expand Vaccine Eligibility This Week

DUBOIS COUNTY -- Three new cases of COVID-19 were reported Sunday in Dubois County.

It brings our total to 5,859 since the pandemic began.

No new deaths were reported in the last update.  Our death toll stands at 106.

Our seven-day positivity rate is lower at 4.1%.

In Dubois County, 7,490 people have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.  Just over 4,000 are fully vaccinated after receiving both doses.

As of now, residents 65 and older can get the vaccine in Indiana.  State officials hope to lower the age to 60 sometime this week.
