Dubois County Records Two COVID-19 Deaths, 43 Cases in Tuesday Update

Dubois Co. - In Tuesday's COVID-19 update from the Indiana Department of Health, Dubois county reported two deaths and 43 cases.


Dubois County has now seen three deaths attributed to COVID-19 in the first seven days of December. The county has seen a total of 142 COVID-19 deaths over the course of the pandemic.

Tuesday's 43 positive cases are the highest single day recording since September 27th, when the county totaled 48. During the pandemic, Dubois County has reported 8,917 cases. Dubois remains under an Orange Advisory.


Statewide, Indiana reported 4,241 cases and 93 deaths. According to Indiana Department of Health numbers, 2,642 Hoosiers are currently hospitalized with COVID-19.
