Dubois County Officials to Host "Mass Vaccination" Clinic at Jasper Middle School This Weekend

JASPER -- The Dubois County Health Department will host a COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic this weekend.

It’s part of a district-wide mass vaccination event.  The goal is to administer 1,200 doses of the vaccine during the one-day event.

County officials have reported high demand for the vaccine locally.  That’s causing appointments to fill up fast.  The Health Department hopes this weekend’s clinic will help get eligible residents vaccinated sooner.

It will be this Saturday from 8 a.m. until noon and again from 1 - 5 p.m. at Jasper Middle School.

The second-dose will be administered on February 20th in the same location.

Use the northside parking lot behind the school.

Currently, only healthcare workers and residents 70 and older can get the vaccine.
