Dubois County Election Board to Present Vote Center Plan to the Public Monday Night

Jasper - The Dubois County Election Board will host a public meeting to present the Dubois County Vote Center Plan at 5:30 p.m. Monday Evening.


This evening, the Election Board will present their plan, which can be found on the county website and on their Facebook page. The plan will include a proposed changes to vote centers, where the public will not be limited to an assigned polling place.

In a move to vote centers, Dubois County Clerk Amy Kippenbrock says, voter convenience is improved, voter turnout will increase, election administration is streamlined and made simpler and improves the county's long-term fiscal stance for elections.

Responses and feedback from tonight's meeting will be reviewed by the Election Board ahead of the next meeting, September 27th.
