Dubois County Council Held Monday Morning

Jasper - Monday Morning, the Dubois County Council met for a scheduled meeting.


On the agenda was an update on the tunnel on 200 West, which had been impacted by a dump truck. Highway Supervisor Steve Berg said that while the dump truck contacted the tunnel nearly 20 feet off the ground, there did not seem to be anything structurally wrong. The tunnel will be fixed with insurance money, estimated at $7,500.

-Dubois Strong - digital inclusion plan. trying to determine where we are with broadband-Some people have to drive into town to get WiFi

-Discussed program giving $5000 to individuals who move to Dubois County
