Driver Had to Be Freed From Vehicle Following Huntingburg Crash, No Injuries Reported

HUNTINGBURG -- Two people were lucky to walk away unscathed Tuesday from a crash in Huntingburg.

Police say the driver of a Ford truck was traveling west on 10th Street just before 2:30 Tuesday afternoon when he ran the stop sign at 10th Street and crashed into a Jeep Cherokee.

The Jeep rolled onto its side and first responders had to break out the rear window to pull the driver out.  His airbags also deployed but he wasn’t hurt.

The driver who caused the crash also uninjured, but he was cited for disregarding a stop sign.
