District 10 ICU Bed Capacity Improves Slightly But Remains a Real Concern as Cases Surge

AREAWIDE -- We’re also keeping our eyes on area hospitals where ICU capacity remains a concern for health officials.

The number is a bit better at this hour.  14% of the ICU beds in District 10 are currently available.  The update prior to that one put capacity at just 10%.

District 10 includes Dubois County and points west through the Evansville region.

Our eastern counties are in District 8.  Their situation isn’t as dire.  They report 46% of their ICU beds are currently available.
