Dense Fog Advisory

DENSE FOG THIS MORNING... .The combination of mostly clear skies, light winds, and lingering low level moisture from recent rainfall is creating dense fog this morning. Watch for reduced visibilities down to a quarter mile or less, especially near bodies of water and in areas that saw recent heavy rainfall. The fog should burn off and visibilities will improve by 10 AM EDT/9 AM CDT. The National Weather Service in Louisville has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 10 AM EDT /9 AM CDT/ this morning.

* VISIBILITY...One quarter mile or less.

* IMPACTS...Reduced visibilities will slow morning travel and make driving conditions hazardous. Allow extra time to your destination and use low beam headlights.
