Daviess County Authorities Prohibit Indoor Visitations at Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities ... Again

WASHINGTON -- The Daviess County Health Department has put new restrictions in place at nursing homes in the county, according to reporting from the Washington Times-Herald.

Starting this week, indoor visits are prohibited at nursing homes and assisted living facilities there.

It’s the third time Daviess County officials have implemented the restrictions since the pandemic began.

In addition to the rise in new cases, the county reported two more deaths related to the virus in the past week.
