Conservation Officer Ryan McIntyre Named 2019 DNR Officer of the Year in District 7

AREA WIDE -- Indiana Conservation Officer Ryan McIntyre has been named the District 7 Officer of the Year for 2019.

The district covers Dubois, Daviess, Martin, Gibson , Knox, Pike, Posey, Spencer, Warrick, and Vanderburgh Counties.

McIntyre, a Gibson County native, serves as a certified breath test operator and as a National Archery in Schools instructor.  He’s now in the running for the statewide Pitzer award.  It’s named after DNR officer James Pitzer who was fatally shot while investigating illegal hunting back in 1961.
