CODE ORANGE: Dubois County Reports More Than a Dozen New COVID Cases Over Long Holiday Weekend

JASPER -- State health officials reported 13 new positive cases of COVID-19 in Dubois County over the long holiday weekend.

That brings our total to 876 cases in the county since the pandemic began. Of those cases, 17 have died; over 730 have recovered.

The county remains under a code orange designation with local positivity rates increasing, according to the state COVID-19 Dashboard.  (CLICK HERE to read more about the state's new color-coded system)

Dubois County's seven-day positivity rate stands at 10.7%. That’s double the current state average.
