Local health officials released the following statement....

"We are seeing high community spread of COVID-19 in Dubois County. We understand that stage 5 has removed some restrictions on the number of people allowed at group gatherings and special events. However, it is still essential to physically distance yourself from others and wear masks while participating in these activities. This increase in viral spread impacts our schools, healthcare facilities and the entire community.

The Dubois County Health Department is happy to answer any of our questions, however, we are currently having a high call volume. Answers to most of the questions we receive can be found on the CDC.gov or coronavirus.in.gov websites and we appreciate you referring to these sources before calling if possible. If you leave a message for us we will get back to you as soon as we can."
