Child Struck by Vehicle Near Jasper Middle School Monday Afternoon

JASPER -- A juvenile was treated and released by EMS after being struck by a vehicle near Jasper Middle School Monday afternoon.
Jasper Police say the driver was on Portersville Road near the Middle School around 4 p.m. when, for an unknown reason, she left the roadway, drove onto the sidewalk and hit a juvenile.
The driver was cited for Failure to Obey Signs and Markings.
