Warrick Co. - The Cause of death of Michael White has been released.

According to WFIE and the Warrick County Coroner’s office, White, 64 of Chandler, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The Coroner says he had three non-fatal gunshot wounds as well, but the fatal shot came from his own gun. A toxicology report is still pending.

White was the subject of a three day manhunt near Lynville. The Warrick County Sheriff’s office says White had warrants for his arrest in dealing methamphetamine.

White would fire at deputies on two occasions before Thursday night. Officers say they and White exchanged gunfire before White succumbed to his injuries.
