JASPER -- A Jasper woman is in jail today on burglary charges.

Police say 36-year-old Cassandra Meyer broke into a home in the Holy Family area earlier this week with the intent to steal items from the home.

The homeowner’s surveillance cameras detected movement in the home and notified him of the intrusion and he called police.

Officers arrested Meyer at the home.  She’s charged with Level 4 Felony Burglary.
