Business is Booming in Jasper as New Companies Set Up Shop

JASPER -- There have been plenty of ribbon cuttings across the city in recent weeks, and even more are planned for later in the month.

This Thursday, the Jasper Chamber will host a ribbon cutting at the new LIVEwire co-working space.  An open house will follow until 6 p.m.  It’s located at 402 E. 13^th Street in Jasper.

Another ribbon cutting is planned for October 17^th at the new Digestive Care Center at 647 West 2^nd Street in Jasper.  The ribbon cutting is at 4 p.m.

Last week, Hosparus Health held a ribbon cutting on the city’s north side and I’m told a national dental chain will be built next to it.  TJ Maxx hosted a ribbon cutting Sunday on its new store in the Germantown Shopping Center, and Pub N Grub is planning to move its operations to Jasper later in the year.  They are currently based on the Patoka.
