Body Pulled From River is Not Missing Boater, Search Continues

NEWBURGH -- Still no sign of the boater who went missing in the Ohio River near the Newburgh Dam September 9^th.

DNR officials say a body recovered in the river in McCraken County, Kentucky recently is not Steven Burks.

The Owensboro man went missing in the swollen Ohio earlier this month.  One man was rescued but Burks and his boat are still missing.

DNR teams will continue to search the river until further notice.
