Big Olaf in Jasper to Re-Open in New Location as Zax Creamery

JASPER -- Big Olaf in Montgomery is back open for business.

They’ve added a drive-thru window and call ahead ordering.

In Jasper, the company took over the old Libby’s Ice Cream Shop in the courthouse square but closed that location not long after.

Owners say they plan to re-open in a new Jasper location as Zax Creamery.  In a post on Facebook, the company says it plans to offer homemade ice cream, specialty coffees, and doughnuts Fridays and Saturdays.

The location and opening day are being kept under wraps for now.  Owners say that information will be released soon.
