Area Gas Station Closes Pumps After Accusations Arise of Water in the Gasoline

VINCENNES -- A gas station in Vincennes has closed its pumps after customers complained about water in the gas.

WTHI-TV reports it’s happening at the Marathon Quick Stop at 6th and Vigo Streets in Vincennes.

The owner says he immediately alerted authorities to the issue once it was brought to his attention.

He’s vowing to pay for all vehicle repair bills related to the issue.

If you have questions you can contact the gas station at 812 – 886 – 5171.  The connivance store is open, however the pumps are shut down until the problem is fixed.

No word today on how water got into the gas.
