Annual Christkindlmarkt to be Held Nov. 17-18 in Ferdinand

Visits with Santa Claus:  Tell Santa what you want for Christmas!  Children of all ages are welcome 1-4 p.m., Saturday, November 17th at German American, 1020 Main Street in Ferdinand.

Marionette Theater: Half life-size Melchoir Marionettes will perform on Saturday, Nov. 17th at 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., and again on Sunday, Nov. 18th at 11:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. at the Forest Park High School Auditorium in conjunction with the 21st annual Ferdinand Christkindlmarkt.  This performance is quite entertaining for both young and old!

The Christkindlmarkt will be hosting:

“Sounds of the Season” concert by the Celebration Singers:  An amazing 60-member chorus will perform seasonal and traditional Christmas carols in beautiful St. Ferdinand Church in Ferdinand, IN on November 17 at 7 p.m. EST  No admission charge, goodwill donations accepted

Free tours of the Monastery Immaculate Conception:

Saturday, November 17 any time between 10 a.m. - noon,  and 1-3 p.m. EST

Sunday, November 18 any time between 12 and 2 p.m. EST
