An Area Pastor Has Died After Battle With COVID-19

PIKE COUNTY -- A popular Pike County pastor has died after being hospitalized with the virus.

WFIE-TV reports Pastor Jeff Crowe died Monday afternoon. He was the pastor at Cup Creek General Baptist Church in Velpen.

Members of his church and others in the community held a prayer vigil over the weekend for the area pastor outside of Deaconess Gateway Hospital. That's where Crowe has been receiving care since contracting the virus back in September.
