STATEWIDE -- There is a chance that all AMC movie theaters across Indiana, and the country, could shut down for good.

The company warned Wednesday that it may not survive the coronavirus pandemic, as it continues to lose money with theaters still closed.   And even after local governments allow theaters to reopen, AMC says it may still have problems if entertainment companies delay releasing new movies.

There are 24 AMC theaters across Indiana.  The closest locations to our listeners are in Washington, Evansville and Bloomington.
