Snow and Wintry Mix Expected Tonight...
An upper level disturbance and surface trough will bring wintry precipitation to the region from late this afternoon through tonight.
The precipitation may briefly begin as a rain/snow mix, then change to mostly snow in southern Indiana and a wintry mix in north central Kentucky for the evening hours. Overnight some freezing rain or freezing drizzle is expected, and may create a
light glaze.
* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations of one to two inches, with the heaviest amounts north of the Ohio
River, and ice accumulations less than one tenth of an inch.
* WHERE...South central Indiana and portions of north central Kentucky.
* WHEN...From 4 PM EST /3 PM CST/ this afternoon to 7 AM EST /6 AM CST/ Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slick roads and sidewalks.
