AREA WIDE -- The Storm Prediction Center has placed the entire listening area under a SLIGHT RISK of severe weather Tuesday.
While there is still some uncertainty over whether all of the key components for severe weather will be in place Tuesday, meteorologists warn strong to severe storms could pop up Tuesday afternoon.
We'll have to watch the timing of the arrival of the cold front, and whether we get breaks in the clouds during the day (which will add fuel to the thunderstorms that do move through).
The greatest threat, at this point, is damaging winds and hail, however, an isolated tornado or two can't be ruled out.
Stay with WITZ through the day Tuesday on-air, on-line here at witzamfm.com and on social media.
