ALERT: Fast Food Working Diagnosed With HEP A Worked Sick

BEDFORD -- A fast food employee in Bedford has been diagnosed with Hepatitis A, according to the Times-Mail.

That employee worked while ill at the Burger King on 16th Street in Bedford on May 15th – 19th and again May 22nd – 24th.

If you consumed food or drink at that Burger King on those dates, you should monitor yourself for symptoms of Hepatitis up to 50 days after exposure.

Those symptoms include loss of appetite, nausea, tiredness, stomach pain, brown-colored urine and light-colored stools.

If symptoms develop, contact your health care provider.

Officials in Lawrence County continues to offer Hep A vaccinations.
