72-Year-Old Huntingburg Man Arrested for Vehicle Theft

A Monday stolen vehicle report led to the arrest of a 72-year-old Huntingburg man.

On Monday, the Jasper Police Department received a report of a stolen vehicle from a residence in Jasper.

The vehicle was taken by Larry Jefferies of Huntingburg, Indiana. Surrounding agencies were notified and Crawford County Sheriff Department conducted a traffic stop reference stolen vehicle later that evening in Wickliffe, Indiana.

Larry Jefferies was transported back to Jasper and lodged into the Dubois County Security Center. Jefferies was charged with vehicle theft (level 6 felony.)
