42 New Cases of COVID-19 Reported in Dubois County Monday

JASPER -- The Indiana State Department of Health announced 42 new cases of COVID-19 in Dubois County Monday afternoon.

The new cases bring the county's total to 2,537 since the pandemic began.  Of those cases, 32 people have died.  All of those local deaths have been patients over the age of 50.  Nearly 47% of the county’s deaths were 80 and older. 


Dubois County's seven-day positivity rate stood at 10.6% Monday afternoon.  The county remains at a CODE ORANGE designation, based on that rate.

We also continue to monitor local hospitals in District 10, which includes Dubois and surrounding counties.  19.2% of the district’s ICU beds are currently available along with 75.9% of its ventilators.  38.4% of the district’s ICU beds are currently being used by COVID-19 patients.

Locally, District 10 includes Dubois, Daviess, Martin, Pike, Perry, and Spencer Counties.
