35 New Cases of COVID-19 Reported in Dubois County Wednesday, Perry County Goes to CODE RED

JASPER -- Officials are releasing a new batch of COVID-19 numbers at noon.  They’ve also updated the county-by-county color codes.

Let’s start with the numbers.  35 new cases reported at noon in Dubois County.  That brings our total to 1,939 since the pandemic began.

Our seven-day positivity rate stands at 14.6%.  That’s up from yesterday’s 12.2%.

The state has also update the color codes.  Dubois County is now under a CODE ORANGE designation.  Perry County went up to a CODE RED.

Greater Jasper students in grades 8 - 12 move to virtual learning today due to the rising COVID numbers. 

They are expected to return to class after the Thanksgiving break.
