18 New Cases of COVID-19 Reported in Dubois County Friday Morning

JASPER -- The Dubois County Health Department is reporting 18 new positive cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in the county as of Friday morning.
That brings the total to 605 positive cases of COVID-19 in Dubois County residents since the pandemic began.
When you do the math, it comes out to 245 active cases in the county.

New numbers from the state show Dubois County had the second highest positivity rate in the state over the last seven-day period.
That rate currently stands at 23.2%. The state average is just 8.9%
The only county with a rate higher than ours is LaGrange County in the northern part of the state. They posted a 23.7% positivity rate.
