Jeeps' Kalb Earns Third All-Conference Baseball Selection, Dodd and Fuhrman Firsts

- Announced Thursday morning, the Blue Chip Conference celebrated this season's records and distinctions.


Among the distinctions, an exclusive list of players earning their third All-Blue Chip nod: Ty Kalb, Northeast Dubois, Kale Jones, of North Knox, and Dylan Maeder, South Knox. Kalb, committed to continue his baseball career at Franklin University (Indiana), also made the All-Conference Team for tennis in his senior season.

Though Kalb is not the only Jeep player to grace the 13-player list - Clay Fuhrman and Aidan Dodd also received the distinction.

The full Blue-Chip Conference list includes Ethan Graber and Jake Pauw of Barr-Reeve, Lucas Brittain, Jacob Tedrow and Drew Walker of Loogootee, Ayden Stiles of Shoals, Zach Allen of South Knox and Wood Memorial's Wil Morton.

Over the course of the season, Barr-Reeve's Seth Wagler led the conference with a .652 batting average, 15 hits (Tied with Loogootee's Drew Walker), eight doubles, plus 10 strikeouts and a 1.62 ERA on the mound.
