Jasper Reds to the World Series
The Jasper Reds believed to be the oldest semi pro team in the country have announced they have received one of only three at large bids to the 85th annual National Baseball Congress World Series.
The tournament will be played starting Saturday July 27th at Eck Stadium in Wichita, home of the Wichita State Shockers.
This will be the Reds seventh appearance in the World Series.
Out appearances were in 1993,94,2013-15 and in 2017. Last year the Reds appeared in the Bluegrass World Series.
