Crabmeat-Bacon Rolls

  • ½ cup tomato juice
  • 1 well beaten egg
  • 1 (6½ or 7½ oz.) can drained and flaked crabmeat
  • ½ cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • ¼ tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 9 slices of bacon, cut in half
  • dash of pepper

Mix the tomato juice and egg together. Add crab, bread crumbs, parsley, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.

Roll the mixture in your fingers, making about 18 rolls. Wrap each roll with a half-slice of bacon. Fasten together with a toothpick.

Broil about 5 inches away from the heat for about 10 minutes. Turn often to brown evenly.

Makes about 18 rolls.
