The 2013 Walk to End Alzheimer’s is a one mile walk down the Jasper Riverwalk on paved sidewalks and trails. The goal is to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association in order to help care for Alzheimer’s patients as well as to research Alzheimer’s Disease. There is still a lot that needs to be learned and every little bit helps. This is the largest Alzheimer’s fundraising event across the entire nation!
Make sure to register if you plan on walking. There isn’t a specific registration fee though you are asked to make a personal donation as well as fund raise for the Alzheimer’s Association before the walk. Any participant that raises a minimum of $100 will receive a T-Shirt.
The Walk to End Alzheimer’s will happen rain or shine!
