CHOCOLATE PRETZEL RINGS 01/29/10
48 pretzel rings(Some of you have not been able to find pretzel rings anywhere locally. A similar recipe I found says you can use the mini-tiwst pretzels. These are almost heart-shaped rather than rings)
1 (8-ounce) package milk chocolate kisses
1/4 cup M&M's (pink, red and white mix for Valentine's Day)
Place the pretzel rings on greased cookie sheets. Place a chocolate kiss in the center of each ring. Bake at 275 degrees for 2-3 minutes or until chocolate is softened (not melted). Remove from oven.
Place a different colored M&M on each center, pressing down slightly so chocolate fills the ring.
Refrigerate 5-10 minutes or until chocolate is firm. Store at room temperature. Yields 24 servings (2 pieces each).
